hi all, im a newey to this forum...just a quick back ground, loved saabs all my life but never bought 1 always bmw's, golf's etc. Now i bought a saab 9-3 aero hot convertable 02 plate beautiful car love it to bits...best is that its already converted on lpg. All was fine and one day the night mare started the engine management light came on i took it to some 1 i know with a laptop and he plugged it, and revealed the code po171 i have had the co2 test and passes all time on lpg and petrol straight away, apart from this we discovered oil leaks in engine and recently it started to say fill coolant....is this ever going to end..please HELP i dont want to give up the car so quickly....by the way the light came on when i was driving on lpg

Repair and maintain her, I'd think this is best.
You will probably have to take her to the dealer, if you happen to have a good one:cheesy:
Apparently the engine computer is having trouble with the LP gas.....false readings..

hi thanks for that, sorry the car has 102k on clock well maintained but today miraclesly the light came off!, i took it to bagnall saab brum nd he told me it may be intermittence with lpg and nt to worry. but he told me i had leak on oil switch and water pump leak, hopefully that should do the trick.

i think you are right earthworm, the engine management light has come on again i think the computer is having trouble, it drives fine no issues ther its just annoying.
