:roll:Any ideas. I have a 9-3 vector sport on a 05 plate and the batteries went dead this morning. I have jumped the car with a portable booster pack and ran it for 30 mins none stop. Problem now is that the turbo doesn't seem to kick in and the engine won't rev over 3500 rpm and the orange warning light for the engine is on the dash. I have disconnected the battery for 45 mins to see if it would clear but no the car is still the same. any ideas what to do next

everything seems to be wirking fine. once i had got the engine runninmg i have been out and about. i spent 15 mins running around then went and put the car through a car was but i left the engine running then came straight home and it was on th eway home that the turbo lacked power and the revs would build up but at rest its idling fine as it should.. do you think i could have water in the fuel system somewhere or a dodgy fuel filter

Did anyone suggest 'Limp Mode' ? You'll run into this with a CEL and restricted power. Not much you can do but have the code read and figure out the issue. Usually a battery reset would help, but not everytime.

Let us know ?

Limphome would generate a SID Message on the order of "Limited Power, Contact Dealer"
Always? I was in limphome mode once with no message, however, it went away after a couple restarts (and the CEL was inconsistent at the time).
Sounds more consistent according to the poster, vac leak?

Now im very curious - any update donny ?
