Alright guys, the list of things that need to be done to my saab is growing..all small things, its mechanically perfect. But the body leaves a lot to be desired ( rear fender rust, dings), 2 bent rims, power steering hose leak and some interior issues. Would it be easier to just swap my engine into another 2.3l shell? I find beautiful 9-5s with blown engines for 700 bucks all the time it seems, is it as easy as swapping in the engine, trans and ecu? Might be a cool sleeper to swap all my gear and the b235r into a non-aero shell.

Not much of a sleeper there no one but a Saab head would think oh non-aero it's slow...

But sounds like a weekend ofmworhntomfix all your issues and 700 bucks why not. If its the same model yr type don't go from 02 above to an older shell and remember there is a lot of swapping like suspension brakes depending on year to get all the ao goodies
