[EDV11]

I don't know if this can be caused by bad motor mounts... I have a 2001 9-5 Aero SW. I don't get vibration at idle or driving. The "problem" is that when I press or release the gas pedal, specially under city driving, I can feel some "engine shaking". I mean, is not smooth, but it shakes a couple times.

If I launch the car with the clutch, or if before releasing the gas pedal I press the clutch, I will not get this shake.

It is very annoying when driving slow...

Could this problem be as simple as a gummed up throttle body?


Cleaning the throttle body has to be worth a try.
- Delivery pipe off
- intermittently squirt carb spray into the TB (with engine running if possible)
- wipe down with lint free cloth (especially the edges of the butterfly)
