Hi people, I've come over from the 9K forums as my dad is thinking of getting a 9-5 estate. It's going to be an auto, and he hasn't the money for a 3.0 V6 TiD, so it's likely to be a 2.3 eco/aero.
We're reading a lot of stories, some on here, about oil sludging up and the engines being 'useless' because of it. We want to know what's happened between the old B234 and the 235 engine that's caused this 'regular issue'? We're wondering if the turbo oil lines are flexible and smaller diameter or if the smaller turbo is somehow the culprit. Also, if the issue is widely known, has a known fix been established?

Also, what's the chain of events for LPT to FPT conversion?

cheers
Dan.
