Tried a search, but no luck, Whats the best oil grade to use for the NG900T and whats the engine oil capacity? thanks. I have 5w 40 synthetic in the shed, but its the high quality VW oil for the PD engine (DIESEL), I would use this if it was safe, but wouldnt risk engine damage.

I know that the grade 5w40 is fine. But I do not know about that particular oil.

As far as oil capacity, I believe it's 4.2 quarts, or 4 liters.

Check out the owner's manual, has lots of useful information, including engine oil capacity and recommended oil grades (not sure if synthetics are included).

Anyone know the difference between diesel oil and petrol oil?
IMO, , I think, none that matters - for a gasoline engine..

But petrol oil must be a able to handle the higher temperatures, particularly those cause by the turbocharger...
But this is a tough question ; I would NOT want to use petrol oil in a Diesel..
Ask others, ask Bob the oil man...
