My 99 9-5 4cyl lpt with almost 149 k km's is not really running up to peak performance. It takes longer than usual to warm up, the engine stumbles when its warming up (does not have a consistant idle), does not have the power it used to have and I am using premium fuel. Any suggestions how I can fix this?

I'd start with cheap things!

Clean throttle body
Change spark plugs
Use injector cleaner

Possibly change thermostat (not sure if thats cheap)

Thanks Chris, I cleaned the TB, nothing changed. Didnt change sparkplugs or thermostat but I have them waiting to be installed. I also have a new fuel filter to be installed. Hope that helps. By the way, whats the proper way to clean out the TB??

To clean the throttle body you need a can of throttle /carb cleaner and a soft lint free cloth, gently clean what you can get to after removing the delivery pipe. (be careful of the o ring they decay) then with the engine running squirt some cleaner into the TB which causes the car to splutter and stall, sounds awful but seems to help! ;)
