Its a small metal cup and a bit of black rubber thats all, the large silver support is exactly the same in both pics its just been powder coated

I meant to be clearer about the vibration dampener... I'm going to replace the one under the mount and was wondering what the black rubber thing was.

Does it make a difference (having the black rubber vs. not?)

I dont believe the one on the top makes much difference if any
