Just about to put the engine back in. Dont know which mounts to use ,the ones from the donor car or the originals. Any way of testing them ?. the gearbox end mount is obvious but the hydraulic type is a deceptive item!
It's hard to test without them fitted. Usually you need someone to sit in the car and with the car in 1st or D hold the brake and rev up to about 3K. Then the same in reverse. Someone the to see how the engine is moving. It would take an experienced eye to (not mine) to assess the hydraulic ones, but the top stabiliser is obvious.
