Engine light and fault code T8 P1312 00 and P1682 00
I have ordered new plugs, coils and Ionization Module.
Hope this solves the problem:
Question: do old error messages have to be deleted in Tech2 or do the error messages disappear by themselves if the problem disappears ?

DTCs are stored in modules, so you need to erase them.

Plugs (NGK) were changed last year, so could these be old messages?
PS the engine light comes and goes (mostly on but disappears occasionally)
And yes, only ordered original parts

I'd replace them ASAP, they are cheapest parts to make random swap.
What type they are? They should be Copper or Platinum.

I have read somewhere that you have to be careful about deleting messages because you will then no longer be able to see the errors? Is it the case that if you delete the messages (In DTC) they will come back if the problem is not solved??

@GeirOlav It's very rare for ionization module to be replaced,P1312 is normally an issue with the coils,start by replacing coils first,as you only replaced plugs last year.These plugs are good for 60k mls..

So I deleted all messages and checked again.

Engine light is now gone, have only started the engine a couple of times but don't try to drive the car

Reset knock counters.
What I see is that your battery might be on its last leg.
