Just switched over to the e-code bumper strips. I now have the side marker bulb failure notification. Is there a way to permantely shut this off? Does it require a Tech II or is there some kind of fake bulb I could use. I'd rather not have to clear it every time I start my car.

Thanks.

I went to the dealer for the coolant tank recall a while back. They also updated my ECU. This somehow disabled the lights on the impact strip. They no longer switched on. Odd. Anyways, I now have the euro strips with 0 issues.
