Recently my car was hit by a drunk guy. His insurance accepted liability and had it fixed for me. The body shop removed the left side doors in the front and back. Now, sometimes when I shut my driver side door, it doesn't shut and it just bounces back off of the car do to a fault in the latch. Is this something that could be acting up since they removed and then reinstalled it. Also, now my SiD is telling me the ECU is not programmed. I'm assuming they disconnected my battery. Is this something that could cause that as well? Thank you for your answers in advance!

One day On my way! Home from a 15 hour shift I decided to help a stranded cute girl on the side of the road with her flat . After I finished I went to my car and the door wouldn't closed had the same Prob as you. Just look on the side of the door where it has the pinchers that latch push them and at the same time pull your door handle . That fixed it for me and never happened agian
