Well today marked the discovery of what has caused me a multitude of problems over the past few months, including stalls right after startup, poor idles, CELs for lean mixtures and evap leaks, and a bad mpg.

None of the solutions I found here worked for me, until my linkage went out yesterday. Lifting the car up to see what was wrong, I smelled that oh-so-familiar scent of fuel coming from the rear. Examining the hoses underneath my car yielded nothing, until I glanced in the right rear wheel well. The previous owner must have put at least 235 or 245 tires on some 18 inch rims judging from the marks, and he managed to rub through the fuel filler neck, afterwords attempting to patch it up with a crappy glue job.

Well, that's that. I sure am glad I caught it today, because I was planning on dropping the gas tank soon. Just a reminder to consider ALL the possibilities before doing something time or money consuming. ;)
