Hi guys,
I thought I had done well when I found a second hand Saab amp and door speakers upgrade ... until I tried to fit the amp!
I gather (from finding the leads) that the amp is sited behind the passenger's side footwell kickplate - somewhere! do any of you guys know which way it is fitted and how?? the kit delivered included a din plug/lead (to fit into the back of the stereo??) and is attached to a bracket but I can't for the life of me work out which way it fits....help!

The amp has the connections facing upwards and the cooling fins facing out. If I had a camera I would take a picture since my kick pannel hapens to be off rifht now.

- I don't suppose you could get a picture of the fixings?! - does it fit onto the plastic heater/fan body? is it fitted with self tapping screws or should there be threaded fittings there?

I don't think I can. I borrowed that picture from a website. The two best stock/upgraded Saab audio links:

OK, I updated that picture a little. When you pull that kick panel off you will see....three mounting places. First, the Amp is mounted to a bracket of its own (labelled at "2" on pic, other screw is futher forward then the picture got. That bracket then mounts in three places to the car (two visible, labelled as "1"). I believe it was all threaded. I could't find appropriate screws to fit the threads so instead I used zip ties. Amp never made a peep. Hope this helps. Once you have the kick panel off you'll see the surfaces you need. Good luck!
