My oil cooler was leaking oil and on removal both the cooler and connector were corroded and leaking:evil: Oil coolers are very expensive and I would have needed a hose and connector as well so I thought DIY. 10m of 8mm copper tubing, an external pipe bender spring some jubilee clips and some zip ties were purchased from B&Q (£20) I bent the pipe into a doubled back zig zag mesh to fit infront of the radiator and held it in place with the zip ties. I soldered a jointing union on each end to provide a bulge for the flexible pipes and secured them with 3 jubilee clips on each end which exited under the IC.:cheesy: The surface of the existing oil cooler I calculated at 2000 sq cm and the surface area of my tubing is 2500 sq cm with a volume of .4L
