Hi,
My demister control was a bit stiff at both ends, (i.e. feet and windscreen) and I turned it backwards and forwards a few times, it suddenly freed and now I can only get the air to blow on the feet no matter what setting I have it on.
Is this an easy fix? I am bout to change the dash to a wooden one this weekend and change the stereo.
Someone said to me that it may be a cable????
Can anyone help?

The problem is not the knob, it is what the knob is trying so gallantly to turn...the flaps in a $1.97 HVAC enclosure box....
Do some digging, maybe the toilet paper roll device broke, but I fear not..
A year ago or so there was an excellent thread on this subject...Placing precisely located screws in the $1.97 HVAC box and "un-distorting" it..
