I finally swapped a T3 trim60 on my Saab, with the pretty extensive port job done on the head, I can say the car feels pretty good now. Used to run 1.2 bar on the original Mitsubishi TE05-12b and now I run 0.75 bar (APC fuse disconnected = base boost) with the trim60 and a port job and the performance is nearly the same although the boost pressure is 0.45 bars lower!
Ok back to the point; I want to run 1.3-1.5 bar max boost all the way thru the redline but I'd also like to keep my APC unit if that's possible. So, is it OK to run 0.75bar base boost? (I have a knock light mounted, also other factor like IC, fuel and ignition are already sorted out)
Also could anyone who is running a high base boost give me the readings on their P and F pots? (in kOhm)
I think someone has run a high base boost here, was it Tandino...? Anyway, comments are most welcome and if someone can give me a rough estimate on where to turn the P and F pots (in Ohm/kOhm please), that would be great too... Saves me a lot of gas and probably my driving license
