No power, no key.
  1. Is there any non-destructive way to get into the trunk?
  2. I'm thinking of pulling the Arc steering wheel. Would the wheel be locked? WIS says to turn it one way and then the other to release the catches on the rear.

1: Nope.
2: Use suitable allen key or similar and try to push spring to release airbag.

Steering wheel does turn to allow access to the hole. I was trying WIS way which seems to be screwdriver and push tabs towards centre of wheel....I was taking that as sideways. I guess I push straight inwards in those holes then?

Too bad about trunk. I may consider destructive ways, then.

Easiest way is use SAAB screwdriver without handle. It suits perfect and you can push spring to center to release airbag. I turn outward from the shaft so that the other end turns inwards. Doing so does not require tremendous power.
You find screwdriver in trunk, it is part of tools.

If trunk is closed (and locked), how you pull emergency handle?
