Just got a deal on (4) Nokian Hakka 8 from SimpleTire.com ($122/tire. Found remaining stock for 225/50R17, which seems like an odd size but matches the stock 235/45R17 in diameter but is narrower. Hope I did the right thing. Bought the last ones but could be others out there.

I don’t know but I found a great deal on some Michelin energy saver as 215/50r17 on my 07 9-3 2.0. I don’t think it’s the recommended size at all but I’m running them.

Those would be fine if they're XL, with a load rating of 95. If they're regular load tires, the load rating will be 91, which is kind of low (Saab specifies 93/94 load rating tires for these cars).
