My 19 year old wiring at the cross member earth point is looking a bit tricky. I`ve managed to break off two of the crimped connections. As it`s all a bit tight around there and I don`t want to bend the wires too much to get them all on the bolt I have been thinking about joining some of the wires to reduce the number of terminals, thus reducing the strain on the wires. As you all know the terminals have to be arranged in a circle so they are good and tight.

Can anyone think of a reason why it`s NOT a good idea to do this?
