That was my goal, create an adaptor that was tight. If you loose signal you'll find yourself on the side of the road. Another situation is cranking the engine up to 7k and the ECU gets lost because the bracket or wheel are sketchy...

My previous post:
Please pm and we can start up a group buy list. 199.99 usd plus shipping and paypal fees if used.
Kit will include:
Adaptor wheel
Sensor Bracket
mounting hardware.

Ram85pg has increased his quanity to 2, so we have hit the magical 10 number. :D
So if you have been lurking or on the fence, now is the time to speak up and place your order. I may orderer a few more on speculation, but you will not get the early adopter price of 199.99 usd.

Excited, that's all I can say
 that is what I like to here... This kit makes a T5 conversion that much quicker. There are some disadvantages like the fact you loose the a/c. and a bit more work to replace the belts. I'd recommend you change the belts while you have it all apart anyways.;)

ok, ive gotten myself all messed up with something on the timing wheel. i think ive got it positioned wrong. the car cranks, and has fuel, and gets spark, and sometimes gets a single cylender to ignite, but sometimes it fires back, and tries to back tuen the engine.
do you guys think that the wheel is misaligned?
i know its getting a signal, kuz its sparking, but im pretty sure its in the wrong order

any help would be good

So have you got it running on T5 before this acted up or are you just getting going? Looking forward, the crank turns clockwise. At TDC is your sensor 20 slots down stream of the -2 hole? The sensor air gap is just that, 1- 1.5 mm, matchbook cover thickness. Wheel running true or crashing into the sensor. It the sensor mounted rigidly?

oh, and i counted, i think its 20 teeth, but i cant be 100% sure, as when i got my flywheel lightened, it took the timing marks off it saved 4 lbs on the whole tho

Dude, you have got to have timing marks since you are trying to locate the hamster wheel that has no indexs to where the engine is. To make a TDC mark you can feed a dial indicator into spark plug hole 1 turn the engine until you find the very highest point make a mark. Now go past a fair amount and approach it from the other side and make another mark. TDC should be in the middle of the two marks. If done properly it should account for any drive train lash.

i haddnt thought of doing it so precisely, but thats a really good way to do it.
il do that tomorrow, and check the wheel.

ok guys, im really stumped now
the trigger wheel is lined up perfectly, its on the 20th hole at TDC (thanks for the tip Squaab) but it still wont start. the p[lugs aren't fouled, there is fuel, there is spark, there is compression, there is enough speed, it jsut wont go on its own.
it does a few revolutions, then might fire once, or it might fire at the wrong time and basically stop the engine, trying to fire it backwards.
what do you guys think is wrong?;oops: im very confused.

any help would be great!

Do you know if the DI cassette is good? You also have to have a min on 9.2 volts to the ECU while cranking. If not the ECU shuts down.

im pretty sure its good, il bring a known good one home from work tomorrow and make sure, also, the voltage isnt dropping that much, i think its staying above 11 volts, but that could be part of it.

Did you change the plugs to compatible DI cassette NGK spark plugs BCPR7ES (resistance type)?
