Can someone positively identify the correct part number(s) for the heater core to go into my 1990 9k 'carlsson' with ACC? I've noticed it's leaking coolant next to the internal joint in the manual transmission shifter rod so the core is going to need replacing.
EPC shows 96 20 238 as NLS and replaced by 46 13 881. Is that actually correct?
yes that one is correct "881" recently did mine fit in no problems not too bad of a job either...while you have the cowl off replace the vacuum hose for the boost gauge i'm sure it's dry rotted and old and it's right there
I've been able to track down new ones with the original part number via the place I buy most of my new genuine bits from off Ebay, and I'm getting other things at the same time (like a park brake cable for my 89 900i c900 which has a sticking PB cable that I can't free up).
I'll definitely look at the hose for the boost gauge. I usually replace any small-bore vacuum line with 4 mm ID silicone hose so that'll get done along with checking out the state of the blower fan and the gasket for it's housing.
