Hey guys,

I have noticed some liquid is leaking from the right front side of the car.

The liquid is more viscus than water and the color is red. It does not smell like oil. I assume it is coolant..?

I pop the hood and can't really find which part is it leaking from.

Could it be the water pump or some kind of seals?

It's 2006 9-3 2.0T

Thanks in advance.

on my car it is the water pump the dealer wants $1000 to repair
you can take it to any shop and have them run a test and they can tell you for sure where the leak is

If it has the same viscosity as water and is orange/red-pinkish then it's your coolant, if it has the same viscosity as oil but is a darker red/pinkish then it's transmission fluid, check all your fluid levels, but it sounds like tranny fluid

Yea it can be hard to find a saab shop in ontario.

I bought the car from beacon motors at west end toronto.
and got it fixed there. The car is still under warranty so I just
have to pay for the gas to drive.

The shop seems to keep some parts cars so they got the part
the second they found I had a leaking radiator. They told me
the radiator was pulled from an 07 and it should be a solid one.

The job took about 4.5hours and I was waiting in the showroom...
