Is there a manual over ride for the convertible top? In case of an emergency and you have to bring the top up with no power?

Yes, there is.

This should never be used to lower the top, but there is an over ride to raise it in an emergency. It is in the manual.

What year convertible?

Up to year 1999 the top was all electric, there's a handle under the back seat that disconnects the tonneau motor assembly and you can raise via strong hands, i don't know about later all hydraulic models.

Good luck,

I'd have to look it up to be sure; but I believe the hydraulic versions have a little wrench that attaches to the lift so you can move it back up in emergency.
