Symptoms: In freezing weather, the engine will crank for several minutes but will not fire. The engine does start when the battery is being jumped by a high powered charger or another vehicle. It also will push-start easily on a hill. The ECU and/or DI do not have enough voltage to run while the starter is operating.

This problem can be fixed by strengthening the grounds to the block. Running two short 4 gauge cables from different points on the block directly to the negative post of the battery eliminated the problem completely.
