Matt:

My SES light came on, on Thursday night. Took it to Autozone to have them read the code and it came back P1106--Manufature (might have been manufacturer) fuel/air metering control. When I did a search on this forum w/ the 1106 code, there were other explanations for the same code and vice versa w/ the air/fuel metering explanation being shown for different code numbers. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this. Anyway, I tightened my gas cap and the light went off on Friday midday--don't know if this actually was the reason why the light went off?

When I was getting P1110, it was the bypass valve. Do you hear a kind of fluttering sound when you lift the throttle? That's also a BPV symptom.

These are easy to replace, and if you know another Saab owner, you could quickly swap one from another car.

Edit: Here's a link to another thread I posted in about P1110
