Hi. My My 1990 900i clutch has begun to slip (did 144,000 miles) so, having once replaced the clutch bearings on a 8v 900 dating from 1984, I'm about to try to replace it myself. The things is, does anyone know if (a) the job on a 1990 16v 900i is the same as on 1984 8v model, (b) the actual clutch components are interchangeable between the two cars (I still have the old 8v in the garage) and (c), if they are not, where is a good place to order a new clutch for a 1990 900i.
Many thanks.

Might be a bit more of a pain if that 8v was not a turbo and this one is (more plumbing in the way)

That's good. Means I can go ahead without too much apprehension, I guess. And no, neither are turbo, so... Many thanks.
