Worn sync ring
could have thought it was low due to brake pad wear displacing some of the brake fluidGood question...
Cars cannot be diagnosed on the internet.
Everything you've said points to a failed clutch master cylinder, assuming there is no fluid loss.
Sometimes, when you replace a failed master cylinder, the slave cylinder fails soon after. Try just the master first.
Some suggest just buying the seal kit and rebuilding the cylinder yourself. Suit yourself, but I don't recommend it (I've 'rebuilt' hundreds of hydraulic cylinders).
Where in Scandinavia? I'll be in Oslo and Stockholm in 12-18 days...

sounds vaguely like clutch master cylinder pressure is bleeding off, and more rapidly the hotter the fluid gets.
first stop here is always clutch master cylinder... a lot of the replacements are rather unreliable... :\
