Hi,

I just registered to this site and have a real problem with my 2005 9-3 Sport Sedan. My steering wheel keep a clicking sound when turned right or left.

The problem started about 3 moths ago and at that time the sound was similiar to both sides (silenter, like it is now when turning wheel to left) but last weekend after leaving from parking place it changed to really hard clicking when turned right.

My friend suspects at CIM and something like return switch of the blinker but this problem doesn't have anything to do with blinkers?

Hi there,

Looks like this is going to be my first post... How did you go with this issue? I have the exact same problem and thought it was the CIM/ clock Spring but removed the CIM and turned the steering wheel, still have the noise!

Any help much appreciated!
