As everyone knows, these can be brutal to pull out of the headlamp.... well I managed to totally bust mine by trying to pull it with pliers. This is the 194 wedge bulb socket in the headlight housing.

Can anyone suggest where I can get a replacement socket? Online searches aren't turning up anything.

I let mine burn out. Looked horrible next to the HID anyways. Try the classifieds section? Plenty of people parting cars.

Thanks, I've already seen those, the sockets I'm talking about are much longer/deeper, maybe 3 inches long.

I would say that since it is part of the complete headlight assembly that finding a damaged headlight that you could use for parts is your best shot. There was a thread recently about someone wanting to replace their headlight assemblies for some reason. Maybe you could PM them to see about working something out.

That's why you fit them with canbus LED's :cheesy:
Although if the 30-60 second error checking strobing bothers you, you might not want to do that.

For future searches, just heard back from GenuineSaab, it's not a serviceable part, as it's connected directly to the wiring harness.
