Hi,
I have a saab 9000 CSE 95 model.

(1) The cigarette lighter is not functioning, I don't really know when it
happened. I checked the fuses, none of them seems to be responsible
for it (according to the labels in the fuse box).
Anybody knows how to fix it or how to check where the problom is?

(2) The modor driven radio antenna is broken. Is it very easily replaceable
or do I have to go to the the SAAB workshop?

Thanks.

about the antenna:
make sure the radio gives signal to the antenna to work.
If that is OK, first short circuit the antenna to see if the motor of that is functioning at all.
If it is not, it is probably broken (use a multi meter to test)
then you can replace it. It is about 30 minutes of your time.

Myself, I used a regular OEM antenna, for the SAAB's are really expensive. It needed some adaptations for my antenna to fit. I drilled new holes in the bracket to do so.
All in all a reasonable do-it-yourself job

thanks everybody,
I replaced the antena with a new one, very easily done.

The cigarette lighter was actually not broken, it was a loose-contact
problem, solved as well.

For the antenna I suggest adding a switch. Mine sits on the antenna wire going from my deck. This way you can keep it down when you aren't listening to the radio. This is also useful on really cold winter days when you don't want have the motor fighting against the ice.
