Wow...that's really cool..:cheesy:..I'm glad they went over all the maintenance bits as well.

I noticed he said our timing chains need to be replaced every 70,000 miles or so...is that for real? I figured timing chains should last at least 150k...or am I way off on that?

This one suprised me too. I was under the impression that the chain lasted the life of the car, or of the cyllender head or head gasket.

Timming chains last 150, 000miles to 250,000 miles.


The headgasket goes about the same time too.

On 16V cars, the head is much stronger and is rare to suffer from cracks and warpage.
