Most people say the high gas prices are a bad thing, but I feel it's a great motivation for regular people to explore alternative sources of energy.

Glad you thought of that ... btw, what the heck are you doing to your car?
Most people add things to the engine compartment, not take the whole thing out!:nono;

my engine suffered from a spun bearing on cylinder #3. today i went and checked out a 1995 9000 aero block. i am so close to buying it but im a little concered about the accesories mount and the transmission. it looked similar but im still a little worried. the junk yard said i could return it but they would just give me credit and not cash back with is bull!

hey on a side note, your actually probly pushing around 2 horsepower.. last year my physics class did sum experiment where u run up a flight of stairs, and depending on how fast you do it and your weight, you can figure out a rough estimate of YOUR horsepower. i put out like 1.8 horsepower if i remember correctly, lol.

the guy who agreed to buy my 900s is coming on sunday to pick it up and pay so ill be $2000 up concidering i bought the car for $1200 and put about $300 worth of parts into it and am selling it for $3500. that will give me plenty of money to play with! im still about 60 - 40 towards getting the 2.3t engine but im still not all the way sure. its about $300 more than the 2.0 i could get but the junk yard is right near my house. the 2.0 is about 2 hours away. they both have about 70k miles on them.
