fellow Saab owner, I really need your help here; my check engine light came on and after checking it out, it gave me the code P1925 - which turn out to be Manufacturer Contrl Transmission. Can anyone please tell me what just happened to my sweet ride and advice me on what to do?

Thanks a lot for the link. My ABS, Break and TCS lights came on and a day after that, my speedo went off for about 45mins. It's all beginning to make sense now. I'll try checking with some mechanics around to see what they can do about this. I really appreciate the help. LONG LIVE SAAB CENTRAL!!!!

By the way, I was wondering whether it was something I did that caused the ABS/TCS to go faulty so I stay away from doing that. And any word of advice as of now will be very much appreciated. Thanks.

I dont think its something that you could have done to be honest, they do fail sadly

And its one of those annoying things that you cant upgrade, I hear that some the remanufacturing companies do do work on these units.

Just in case anyone is interested or have a similar issue; I was able to find some guys online who can guide you to uninstall you ABS unit and sent it out for re-manufacturing for less than $250 after Shipping and Handling.

To send it out, use >> www.bba-reman.com << Make sure you click on the USA flag if you are in the US or you'll get Euros.
I guess I need to go rent a car now and start with this painful process.
