Does anyone know how to reset the check engine light without taking to a dealer? My daughter got gas and didn't tighten the filler. Please post or email me;oops:

Just give it a few days, up to a couple hundred miles... it'll go away

Or else go for a BSR stage 1..

That way you wil be able to reboot the T8 elctronics without going to the dealer AND gain some extra horses..:lol:

usually 3-5 15 minute rides with turning the vehicle on/off will re-set computer

The light should off in 1 or 2 days.

If all you see is the yellow engine-shaped warning lamp illuminate, chances are 99% that it's the gas cap. More serious errors would illuminate a message on the SID.
