Here's the deal, I have a 2003 saab vector/aero my father has a 1988 900 convertible. I'm taking a set of saab 17' rims off my car to put on some 18's on it my father is in love with this rims can we get them to fit his car. I know there are 4 to 5 lug adapters he barely drives it and when he doesn he certainly isn't putting any real stress on the car its a second car and treatedbetter than a third child. Any response is greatly appreciated to point me in the right direction.

I dont know how good that would be? the adaptors i mean.

This may make the wheel jut out from the arch and give rubbing over bumps or carrying people.
Whats the cost of 4 adaptors and bolts?
If you can do it and it works then maybe.

Good luck

do you know where I could find those adapters? The only person other than him who ever gets in that cars is my mom and it rarely goes over 55 mph tops. The car is more of a hobby for him than any thing else.

i know you can get hubs etc re-drilled for different spacings and wheel fitment from other cars (people do this to old air-cooled bugs n buses all the time - ive even seen a lush beetle with 15" aeros:cheesy: )

Dunno if you can do this on 900's tho..... take it to an engineers
