How do I fix the centre arm rest in position, I've found the holes (slots really) and have the bolts, but there's no threaded anything. Do I need to get a special type of bolt or a plastic push-in threaded something?

Also, how do I get to the other side of the aforementioned slots?

thanks.

they have special squire bolts that have clips on then to hold them in the hole, you will need to get them from the dealer i would think

There IS a Saab part number for those special Saab bolts, but I can't remember what it is. I never saw anything like them in hardware stores or on the Internet. They come in packs of 4, and cost about $2. The first reaction of my dealer was to say "sorry, no can do" but, when when he checked again LO AND BEHOLD there it was!

You will need 4 bolts in all for the armrest but be warned - they have to be manipulated very carefully, and even Saab mechanics have been know to drop them through the hole and into the tunnel where they will remain for the rest of eternity. So, my advice - for the sake of $2, buy 2 sets!!
