Hey guys,

I'm having intermittent problems with my central locking. It worked fine all of yesterday and first thing today, but when I came to lock the car the central locking did not activate at all. There was no motor sound or extra resistance. When the central locking does work, it works perfectly and all the doors are unlocked with little resistance at the key.

I've read some previous posts on the forum and think it may be the control box, due to the intermittent nature of the problem.

Are there any simple tests that would give me a better idea of where the problem may lie?

Cheers,

Simon

Hello Scando,

Had a problem with the central doorlock myself. It was a completely corroded in in the connector in the left front wing, so there was no connection in the wiring.

I'd sugest you look there first, easy job.
