CEL came on a bit ago and spit out code P0172. According to the scan tool I used that shows 'System Too Rich Bank 1'. I wasn't able to find anything using the search, and when I see 'bank 1' I'm thinking o2 sensor. But this is a Saab, the meaning can be something else altogether.
After I cleared the code and got back home, the car almost stalled out in the driveway but didn't, and ran fine the entire trip home, about 8miles.

Any thoughts anyone?? I'm going to check a few hoses, clean the maf and maybe the evap can. I changed plugs and clean TB about 3weeks ago.
I also check the Haynes manual, but wasn't able to find anything about engine codes.
Thanks

As a diagnostic it might be worth getting your emmissions checked.
I had a similar problem in reverse ie failed CO too high for the MOT.
Changed O2 sensor on garage advice-still failed, nearly changed the CAT,
BUT turned out to be the MAF!
I had no codes or CEL's which really thru me-just 1% high on CO.
Swapped the MAF and voila!

I cleaned the maf and evap can, and replaced some vacuum hoses, cleaned the tb again and replaced the air filter. I'll be looking to change the o2 sensors soon and will be looking into a new maf if this looks to happen again.

Thanks for the help.
