I have the original SAAB branded head unit which says it will control a CD unit, in my '93 model. What brand of CD stacker unit do I need to match with it?

The head units are Clarion, so most Clarion multichangers should work, although it's worth checking the connections match.

The Clarion six disc model used by Saab was the CDC605. As it was an option, the cable might reside in the loom as standard.

Only one on eBay at the mo and that's in Germany, but it may be worth brushing up on your babelfish to win it. Only going for 2 Euro's at the moment. :cheesy:

By the way, if you end up changing the head unit, you'll have to run new speaker cable to bypass the amp installed under the passenger seat.

The Saab head unit's are line level only.
