I have an appointment at the shop to see what going on.......but until then maybe you guys/girls can help. As of now, my 2002 93' wont go in to 5th. Every other gear is shifts fine. I can get the lever in to the position for 5th with the clutch engaged. But as soon as I release the the clutch the lever pops out and grinds as it releases. Prior to this, the car would pop out of 5th if I relased off the gas peddle and stepped back on it at highway speeds. When this would happen you could see the clutch lever move with the deceleration and acceleration of the engine. The lever would move towards the nuetral position when you decelerated and back towards the selected gear position when you accelerated. This only happened in 5th. Of course now, it wont go in to 5th at all. What is a possible suspect. I was thinking maybe a motor mount or clutch servo. If it is a servo.....how much do servos run to remove/replace? Thanks for your help!
