Hello all. I bought my SAAB a few weeks for cheap with a couple simple problems that I fixed. But i finally started driving it all day for the past 2 days and today in particular it started having trouble when coming to a stop. Whenever i am slowing down or have to brake hard (pushing clutch in while braking) the car will almost always stall. Sometimes it will catch itself and just fall to a low RPM like 200-300 and raise back up to 800-900. But it only happens under medium to hard braking (like in traffic). If I downshift it doesnt happen, also If i blip the throttle as I slow it doesnt happen. I just wanted to see what you guys thought and if anyone has had this same problem and if there is a common remedy. I searched the forum but found alot of mixed answers and not a lot of results. thanks!

Sucks

Sounds like a vacuum issue to me. Check to make sure the intake tubing is all tight and connected and all vacuum lines are good.

Find a vacuum diagram and go! :cheesy:
