I did a latest PCV fix for my 9-5 today (as per instruction on our forum), The reason for PCV fix was that the pipe to the turbo cracked. little smoke for about 5 seconds, so I stopped driving the car and did the new pcv fix.

Now the car wouldnt start. What might be the problem? Urgent help please.

thanks.

Sorry couldnt reply as had to go out and it was already dark here in UK so didnt look into the car. Thanks for your replies.

Today morning the first thing I did was hand-hammer the back seat and the car started the first time. lot of smoke for first minute then all clear. Went for drive all seems fine so far.
Does this mean that fuel pump is on its way out?

Thanks.

Do you think it would have struggled to start without the "hammering"?
