Hi. 2006 Saab 9-5 here. I've heard that you can use a Tech 2 to change from a honk to a chirp when locking the car with the remote. Is this true? Anyone done this?

My 2004 (no longer have) would always chirp when I locked it, but my '06 bleeps the horn. I kind of liked the chirp better. I've poked around with the Tech 2 but can't find the setting for this, if it even exists.

The TWICE section lets you do adjustments to number of beeps and loudness. I don't know if the system defaults to the horn if for some reason the siren isn't working.

I just turn the beeps off totally. Much nicer experience.

You can use TECH2 to change chirps.
For that you need siren. Make sure that your car has that.
I don't think it does. I've scoured the TWICE settings under TWICE (under adjustment) and I don't see anything for siren. Unless I am looking in the wrong place.
