as teh title states.

I have a US spec car and would prefer metric measurements as that is what I'm used to.

I can't find anything on this.

Any help

Thanks

It shows in the manual how you can change the SID to metric.

1) Press clear and set simultaneously for 4 seconds until a chime sounds.
2) Press (-) or (+) to select the required units.
3) Touch set.
4) Press (-) or (+) to select the required language.
5) Touch set.

 I know the feeling, I've had my Saab for 3 weeks now(I'ma make a pic thread soon dont worry!). And the first week all my friends were asking questions "lol what does this do?" And I'd sit there and go "ummmmmm..." So I devoted an evening after dinner to reading up on everything.

I don't like how you cannot change the clock to military time without having to go metric.

I honestly prefer metric but I live in the US of A a fully metric SID is not practical.

Then use imperial, or swtich it around. I kno the gallons are a bit different, but w/e.

Don't feel too bad, it's a pretty big manual compared to other vehicles I have owned.

I too wish I could have metric without the 24 hour clock....but oh well!

Cheers,
Jay

Here's page 60 from the MY2000 manual:

I checked, my 1999 manual does not have that page. Not on page 60 or anywhere else.
