Hi everyone,
I'm new, from france,
a friend gave me an 1988 900 t8 sedan , the camshaft is broken...
one of my uncle has an 900 flat noze from 1984 or 1985, 8 valves non turbo,
this car is in bad shape and does not have a gear box, so I was thinking about taking the camshaft from this one,
so my question is, is it the same camshaft as on my 1988 900 turbo8?

thanks for your answer

I doubt it's the same, but it will run very well with no problems. You'd probably get a little more power with the correct part.
Replacing the camshaft is easy, adjusting the valves can be tedious because they use shims.

Welcome! Are you in Ile-de-France?
