Is the year that is stamped on the window the year of the car?

and if not go easy on me, I may be a little slow.

Typically the manufactured date is on the drivers door jam. This is usally not the model year, as most cars are made the year befor the model year. So if your car says it was made in 06/92 it is a 93 model.

I don't know, but you could compare to the year from the VIN:

If it matches, you're good.

The year on the window is the year of the window . I have 1989 and 1993 on my windows (car's had a hard life). However, if it was the original window then it's probably the year of the car.
