Guys -- In need of some help. I am shopping for a repleacement c900 turbo and came across a cherrry but it is automatic. I used to have a manual some time ago. Am I making a bad call by going to the 3 speed auto? Or shoudl I hold out for a good manual? Any upside or downside to each?

I too was looking for a c900 T16 ('vert though in my case) with a manual, but ended up getting an automatic, because the rest of the car was in such good condition. I miss rowing thru the gears, and I imagine it'd be a hoot in a turbo convertible, staying on the boost a little longer than with the 3-speed automatic.

However, in defense of the automatic, it seems that the 5-speeds tends to be more problematic (abused?), at least based on my unscientific review of posts in here between the manual and auto transmissions.

Good luck with your search!
