I need to buy a new blower motor resistor because my fan keeps running when my ignition is off.

I was at first told that I need this part:
http://www.standardbrand.com/Online Catalogs-eCatalog/Content.aspx#

But after looking at the part in the car, it turns out I need part #90512510 here:
http://www.rmeuropean.com/Part-Number/Blower-Motor-Resistor-__90512510_VEM_5FE88943.aspx

However, I am not sure if I have ACC or MCC, and if it matters. I have three dials, one lets me choose between degrees of red and blue, one is 0-5 for speed.

What do you guys recommend for me in buying this new part? Appreciate the help!

Youve got MCC and the 90512510 is the resistor you need. While youre in there lube the fan motor (Im not against drilling a hole right in the center and giving it a shot of blaster, then any water that accumulates can drain and not flood the motor), replace the cabin filter and make sure the rubber drain flap isnt clogged and remove the flap.

Should have mentioned I have a 2003 9-3 Linear.

Can you elaborate on replacing the cabin filter and removing the flap? If I need to buy a filter or anything else could you please point me in the right direction? Im not doing the work but I want to make sure the person doing it has the right stuff.
