Sold my Saab to my best friend for not enough. I let him keep the roof rack, and the DDM HIDs that were in them. He said when the bulb failure light comes on and the bulb is working all you have to do is press the clear button and the message disappears. I don't believe him because I don't think I ever read that on these forums before. Is this true?

Sorry to bring back an old topic, but thanks guys. I wish I would have know this when I owned the car instead of turning it on and off every time I got a bulb failure message from the HID's. I told him if the message bothers him that much that I can put the halogens back in, but he likes the HID's. So I told him to STFU and stop *****ing about the car I gave to you for nothing, because I literally made $0. If anything I lost money.

I did not know that and was always like you already told me my light was out, everytime I start the car, but now I know :)

I usually just hit the down arrow and it goes away until the next time.
